Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to):
- Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Care Unit, including assessments, medication administration, and documentation.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias and emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., ventilators, central lines, cardiac monitors).
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers . You must have:
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintained.
- Previous acute care hospital experience is preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
